Jane Caro

Jane supports the National Secular Lobby based on its guiding principle for the separation of Church and State and the need to broadly promote the secular agenda in Australia. She is a highly respected author, documentary maker, and social commentator who challenges the tribalism and comforts of conventional thinking.

Jane is a passionate supporter of public education, and an ardent advocate for a genuine needs based model of education for all children. She is devoted to gender equality for all, and committed to exposing the societal compromises and limitations still imposed on women and girls by society.

She is the author of several books, including 'Plain Speaking Jane', and 'For God’s Sake!'. She appears regularly on a range of commercial television programs as well as the ABC's The Drum, and the Gruen Transfer.

Jane has a range of national and international awards for advertising and owns her own communications consultancy.
